Pure Heart Staffing is recruiting for a provider seat that can be filled by either a board-certified Family Medicine physician (MD/DO) or a California “103” Nurse Practitioner practicing under AB 890 §2837.103. The employer is a 50-year nonprofit, tribally operated Federally Qualified Health Center serving roughly 25,000 patients across Placer and Nevada counties. You’d start as soon as credentialed at the established Auburn campus, then transfer to a brand-new $58 million, 62,000-square-foot health center in Rocklin when it opens, targeted for March 2027 — as part of the opening team that shapes workflows, culture, and the patient experience from day one.

For nurse practitioners: why the 103 credential matters here

  • This seat requires a California 103 NP — 3+ full-time years (4,600 hours) of transition-to-practice completed, able to practice without standardized procedures in a group setting. The client has confirmed the 103 credential is non-negotiable for the new site.
  • If you’ve earned independent practice authority, this is a role built to use it: outpatient primary care inside an integrated team, with physicians, dental, and behavioral health steps away.

The role

  • Outpatient primary care inside an integrated team — medical, dental, behavioral health, SUD services, optometry, and pharmacy under one roof.
  • Start at the Auburn campus; transfer to Rocklin at opening (targeted March 2027). The new site is expected to add roughly 15,000 patients and about 150 new hires.
  • Closing shift, 9:30–6:30 — a fit for providers who’d rather skip morning rush hour. There is also a 9/80 option: 8:30–6:30 with one day off in every ten.
  • No hospital call, no nights, no weekends.

Compensation

  • Physician path: $261,600–$324,350 (full-time annual equivalent; paid hourly, not overtime-eligible). New graduates typically start $265,000–$280,000; experienced physicians earn $300,000+. Client-confirmed figures.
  • NP path: starts at $154,500 and scales with credential and experience — text or call (916) 796-4020 for a personal quote.
  • Up to $100,000 relocation package, structured as $20,000 per year over five years.

Benefits (full-time providers)

  • Employer-paid health insurance — Blue Shield PPO or Kaiser HMO options, plus vision and dental plans; 80% reimbursement for dependent medical coverage.
  • Student loan repayment opportunities through NHSC, IHS, and other federal and state programs (HPSA-designated site).
  • Malpractice insurance with tail coverage; license renewal assistance; DEA application fee waiver under the Indian Health Care Improvement Act.
  • CME allowance up to $2,500 plus 5 paid CME days.
  • Retirement: tax-deferred annuity with employer match up to 6%.
  • Vacation up to 27 days per year, 11 paid holidays, paid sick leave, $50,000 life insurance, long-term disability, FSA, and EAP.

Who qualifies

  • Physician path: MD or DO with an active California license and DEA registration, board certified in Family Medicine (required for all medical providers here).
  • NP path: active California NP license with AB 890 §2837.103 status, current DEA and CPR certification, and comfort documenting in an EHR.
  • The opening-team mindset: initiative, ownership, adaptability, cross-discipline collaboration, and a genuine desire to build something new — the client hires for this as much as for technical skill.
