Pure Heart Staffing is recruiting board-certified Family Medicine physicians (MD/DO) for one of the smartest-designed physician roles in community health: a Float Physician position with a 50-year nonprofit, tribally operated Federally Qualified Health Center serving roughly 25,000 patients across Placer and Nevada counties in Northern California.
Why physicians like this role
- No patient panel. Practice full-scope outpatient family medicine without carrying panel-continuity burden.
- A truly predictable schedule. In the health center’s own words, this position has a regular schedule communicated in advance — it exists to increase access and cover provider leave across two clinics. This is not locums chaos.
- Home for dinner. Monday–Friday, 8:00–5:00, clinics close for lunch, no hospital call, no nights, no weekends.
- Integrated, whole-person care. Medical, dental, behavioral health, SUD services, optometry, pharmacy, and diabetes care under one roof — warm hand-offs down the hall, not referrals into the void.
- Mission you can feel. Care for Native American and underserved communities at a stable nonprofit with a 50-year track record and a third clinic opening in 2027.
